In a testament to business growth during 2005, our workforce expanded by more than 3,500 members worldwide, including 2,000 new employees in Poland with the acquisition of Lodz, 200 in Chile through our purchase of Conade and 400 in Israel. In France, nearly 650 new employees were hired within the framework of the Veolia Compétences recruitment program.
