"I have learnt a lot about project management, internal relationships within Veolia Environnement and customer relationships in various technical areas: combustion, the quality of the air inside and above all, the risk of legionnaire's disease contracted through the hot water networks. I have conducted R&D tests on Dalkia sites with the operating teams and this experience has incited me to be more involved in field work."

After three years with the Waste Management and Energy Research Center, Julie asked for a transfer to Dalkia Ile-de-France for a more operational function and notably that of QSE correspondent. Her request was rapidly considered by the HR Department. She also wanted to maintain her key contacts with the Waste Management and Energy Research Center and continue working on some of the research centre's projects.

Julie has been a Safety Environment correspondent for 6 months at the Paris Val-de-Marne Centre where she is gaining more technical experience in the field.

"This position enables me to work with the technical and commercial teams and for certain projects, with customers. This function definitely meets my expectations and is a good way of discovering existing positions within

the centre. I'm hoping to work with the Waste Management and Energy Research Center team shortly on new test sites selected by the Centre."

Then, I was assigned to set up a functional sales team, which I directed until the end of 2005. Our activities were focused on overall building management, boiler management in Prague and services for our industrial clients."
